What is an Android Kiosk Browser?
A kiosk browser limits an Android device to a specified web application. Instead of tabs, address lines and free navigation, users only see the intended dashboard or form. This is suitable for check-in terminals, digital menus, production displays, visitor information and smart home panels.
KioskPilot starts local-first: enter URL, set permitted domains, set admin PIN and start the kiosk. Local Free and Pro operation does not require a customer account. Web page content, form input, and browser history are not transferred to the KioskPilot control plane.
From full screen to locked device
A normal Android installation can display the webpage immersively in full screen and limit typical browser navigation. For a fully managed Dedicated Device mode, the tablet is correctly set up as Android Device Owner. Lock task and additional enterprise policies are then available. This distinction is important: an ordinary app may not completely remove Android system boundaries.

Which Android tablets is KioskPilot suitable for?
What is crucial is a supported Android version, a current Android System WebView, a stable power supply and a device suitable for continuous operation. Also check the display brightness, WiFi coverage and the thermal situation at the installation location. For a fixed wall installation, a controlled deployment as device owner is recommended.
One license is valid per device
Pro is licensed per device or active cryptographically bound installation. A user account can manage multiple tablets, but does not automatically transfer Pro permission to other devices. This means that licensing and the actual number of kiosks in operation remain traceable.
